Server is hosted on an Internet server featuring powerful

connectivity. The Internet server operating system and various
Internet services are partitioned into a limited number of,

system and Internet services that are partitioned (not just the
web server), each Virtual Server operates independently from the
other Virtual Servers that share the same host.
The
ShoalsWEB Network Runs on the Verio National Backbone.
Verio's Backbone consists of multiple Primary Datacenters that
house the physical servers themselves. Connected to their
Tier 1 Network. A Virtual Server Purchased through ShoalsWEB
has DIRECT Access to the Verio Tier 1 Backbone. Because

site has fewer hops it must go through to serve content.

Each
virtual server includes its own set of virtual services - HTTP
(web), FTP, POP, and e-mail which operate in a "virtual
environment", independent of any other account. This leaves
you with the flexibility to customize your virtual server to
meet your own preferences. For
example, your Virtual Server will include an entire httpd
directory tree. You will have your own cgi-bin, configuration
files (srm.conf, httpd.conf, sendmail.cf, etc.), and log files
(access, error, and referrer logs, etc.).
You
can customize and configure your Virtual Server's WWW service to
meet your specific needs (and meet them immediately) since you
have complete control of your virtual server environment.
Similar flexibility is afforded for the other virtual services -
FTP, POP, and e-mail.
Each
virtual server is designed to provide greater hosting
flexibility by partitioning the server into smaller virtual
hosts. This allows you to sub-host multiple domains
at the same IP address, and thus realizing the full capacity of
the server system.
This
setup is perfect for those webmasters who wish to sell off
portions of their server space not being utilized by your main
web server account. All
configurations may be done by you as the system administrator of
the virtual server.
